Congratulations to Peng & Carl for new paper
Peng’s research on computational spectroscopy was recently applied to scanning-confocal fluorescence microscopy using the novel system being built by Carl. As a result, we are able to discern spectrally overlapping fluorophores readily. The paper was published recently in Optics Communications.
Precious at FNano Conference
Precious Cantu will be presenting her research in a paper titled, “Nanopatterning via optical saturable transitions” at the FNano conference at Snowbird next week.
New patent issued.
Rajesh was recently granted a new US Patent 8669461 titled, “Ultra-high efficiency multi-junction solar cells using polychromatic diffractive concentrators.” The issue date was March 11, 2014.
Invited presentation at Yonsei University
As part of the Nanoimaging workshop (March 25) at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, Rajesh gave an invited talk titled, “Going beyond the far-field diffraction limit to enable optical nano patterning.”
